It may look a little sloppy on otherwise very attractive interlocking plates, but this was no slouch of a curry. It’s a bagare baigan (from Hyderabad according to the menu), with some very decent baby aubergines (in a peanut, poppy and sesame seed sauce with tamarind and coriander), served with daal, rice and a lovely naan, for a reasonable price for the area.
