The Mayor of London has announced that six of the world’s leading race organisers have been short listed to run a two day festival of cycling in London next year. It will be the first large scale event to use the Olympic Park when it reopens and is expected to attract hundreds of thousands of tourists, generate jobs and generate tens of millions of pounds for the capital.
